- Payment info: processed securely by Stripe — we never see your full card number.

- To provide and improve the Service (matching, search, messaging).
- To send transactional and account-related emails.
- To detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
- To send marketing emails (only with your consent — you can unsubscribe at any time).
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information with:
- Other users on the platform (only what your privacy settings allow).
- Service providers (hosting, payments, email delivery) under strict contracts.
- Law enforcement when required by valid legal process.
4. Your Privacy Controls
- Edit or delete profile content from your profile and Settings pages.
- Toggle "Ghost mode" to hide your profile from job seekers or employers.
- Request account deletion by contacting support — we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication and limited analytics to understand how the Service is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
8. Children
#hire is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
